You downloaded the Sample Monthly Net Pay Computation (Whole Month).

Note that minimum wage is different in NCR from the provinces. Another is that different industries can also have different minimum wages.

Despite having different minimum wages based on location and industry, the whole Philippines has only ONE withholding tax table (Only the annual/yearly withholding tax table matters at the end of the year).

The sample you downloaded is a general example. It does not take into account the minimum wage. In short, you must zero-out the withholding tax of those falling under the minimum wage. (You can modify your own payscript to handle this)

We will post some extra samples that will take the minimum wage into account but pls. note that the minimum wage varies depending on where you are and what industry you are in.

Sorry, I dont quite understand what "payscript" is. But I downloaded http://www.sweldista.com/forum/Topic.aspx?_topicid=20090209-0003

I also tried the online version: http://www.sweldista.com/Tables/WTAX200901.aspx and got the same result. A sampling 5K salary (no supplement, code S) result out with 41.67 w/tax
